Social media management that feels simple, and actually works
Honest London is a social media agency based in London. We run social media for brands, founders, public figures, and businesses who want consistent growth without the nonsense.
If you are hiring an agency, the goal is not to add more admin to your life. It is to get your time back, get your content looking sharp, and get your brand showing up in the right places, consistently.
We manage strategy, content, and engagement across Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, and Bluesky, and we do it in a way that is straightforward, calm, and transparent.
We are also very easy to work with.
We do not sit at arm’s length or behave like an external add-on. We work as part of your team, build real relationships, and actually enjoy what we do. If you have a quick question, WhatsApp us. If you prefer email, that is fine too. If you want to talk something through properly, we are still very comfortable with the phone. We also run regular Zoom calls so you always know what is happening and why.
We explain our thinking, not just our actions. If something performs well, we will tell you why. If a campaign we planned does not land as expected, we will not hide it or dress it up as a win. We will look at what happened, explain it clearly, and adjust. Social media moves fast, and learning is part of doing the job properly.
We keep things human, flexible, and honest, because that is how good work, and good partnerships, actually last.
Social media changes fast, and anyone pretending otherwise is not being honest
If an agency tells you they have cracked the algorithm, or that they can guarantee follower numbers, run.
The algorithm changes constantly. Sometimes it feels like every two weeks, the rules shift again. What worked in spring stops working by summer. A format that was flying last month suddenly dies, and a random, unplanned post becomes the one that carries the week.
There are no permanent winning formulas anymore. The closest thing is this:
Make genuinely strong content, say something real, and keep showing up consistently.
That is what we build for our clients. Not gimmicks, not vanity metrics, not “growth hacks” that quietly wreck your reach six months later.
What makes Honest London different
Most agencies sell certainty because it calms clients down. We sell clarity, because it is the only thing that actually holds up.
Here is what that looks like in practice.
No fake results
We do not use bots, paid followers, engagement pods, or any of the tricks that inflate numbers while damaging your account long-term.
No confusing reports
You will not get a twelve-page deck that tries to distract you with meaningless charts. You get straight answers about what is working, what is not, and what we are changing.
No rigid post limits
Social media is not “three posts per week forever”. We build around what performs, what your audience responds to, and what the platforms are rewarding right now.
No unnecessary add-ons
We do not upsell fluff. We focus on the work that moves the needle, content, consistency, and smart optimisation.
A London social media agency, with real-world accountability
We are based in London, and a lot of our work is with London brands and London-based founders.
That matters for two reasons.
First, because London audiences are not the same as “global audiences”, and the cultural tone here is different. People can smell forced marketing language a mile off.
Second, because accountability is real. If you want to meet, shoot content, plan campaigns properly, and build something sustainable, it helps when your agency is actually here.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a social media agency in London cost?
For one brand, full social media management with Honest London tops out at £2,500 per month.
That includes strategy, content planning, publishing, optimisation, and ongoing management. It also includes a high-level SEO overview of your website, plus diagnostics to flag technical or content issues that could be holding visibility back. If something is clearly broken or easily improved, we will tell you and help you fix it.
We believe social media and SEO work best together. Driving attention to a weak or confusing website helps no one.
The only time pricing changes is if you ask us to manage multiple brands or multiple accounts under one umbrella. In those cases, each brand is treated as its own client, because in practice, that is what it is. Different audiences, different content, different workload.
For most clients, the cost is less than hiring one full-time marketing employee, without the overhead, risk, or single-skill dependency.
If something is not worth your money, we will say so.
Why are you so transparent about your pricing?
Because we have always found the alternative uncomfortable.
Before founding Honest London, Lauren Beeching worked both inside agencies and as a client. One of the things she disliked most was watching prices being quietly adjusted based on assumptions about how much money a potential client might have.
That approach always felt strange and unsettling. Two brands could be offered the same service, with wildly different fees, simply because one was perceived to have a bigger budget. There was rarely a clear link between price and the actual work being done.
At Honest London, we prefer clarity.
£2,500 per month is a fair, realistic price for full social media management for one brand, based on time, expertise, and the level of involvement required to do the job properly. It reflects senior oversight, experienced delivery, and the reality of what consistent, thoughtful social media management takes.
We are very aware that some agencies charge significantly more. We are also aware that many brands simply cannot justify those figures. This pricing is intentional. It is designed to be accessible to serious brands without cutting corners.
It is also often comparable to the cost of employing one marketing employee. The difference is that with an agency, you are not relying on a single skill set. You have access to a team of specialists, continuity of delivery, and no concerns around holidays, sick leave, or handovers.
Being transparent keeps everything straightforward. No awkward conversations, no inflated proposals, no guessing games. You know exactly what you are paying, and why.
For us, that honesty matters just as much as the work itself.
Do you work with small brands as well as large ones?
Yes, both.
We work with internationally recognised global brands and still do. We also work with startups and early-stage businesses who are just getting on their feet.
If the £2,500 monthly fee feels daunting when you are starting out, we understand that. Early growth is expensive and priorities matter. We will talk through what genuinely needs doing, what can wait, and how support can be shaped around a realistic budget.
We would rather build something properly with you than force you into a package that does not make sense.
Do you manage Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other platforms?
Yes, but selectively.
We manage Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, and Bluesky. That does not mean you need to be everywhere.
Part of our role as a London social media agency is being honest about where your effort will actually pay off. Some brands perform brilliantly on one platform and see very little return elsewhere. Being everywhere just to tick boxes usually leads to average content and burnout.
We would rather do fewer platforms properly than spread your content thin.
Do you create content, or do we need to supply it?
Both, and we are very flexible.
For London-based clients, particularly hotels, local businesses, BIDs, venues, and cultural spaces, content does not always fit neatly into a pre-planned monthly shoot. If an event is happening, something newsworthy drops, or there is a moment worth capturing, we are happy to pop down and get what is needed.
Social media rarely runs on a perfect schedule, and we work in a way that reflects that.
If you are outside London, we simply figure out what works best. For e-commerce brands, products are often mailed to us, photographed or filmed, and sent straight back once content is ready. For other clients, we work with trusted videographers and photographers locally.
We have yet to find a situation where content could not be made to work. We like an easy life, and we try to make things as easy as possible for everyone involved.
Can you guarantee results?
No. And anyone who says they can is not being truthful with you.
Social media changes constantly. Algorithms shift, formats fall out of favour, and what worked a few months ago can quietly stop working. There are no guarantees in organic social media, no matter how much pressure there is to promise them in early conversations.
We will never guarantee follower numbers, reach, or engagement, and we will never put promises like that into a contract.
The only agencies that can guarantee fast results are the ones buying bots, fake followers, or engagement pods. Those tactics damage your algorithm, undermine credibility, and often leave accounts needing to be rebuilt from scratch.
What we can guarantee is that we will do the work properly, adapt quickly, and be honest about what is happening on your accounts.
Can you guarantee follower growth or a specific number of followers?
No, and we would never want to.
Most clients still ask this, and we understand why. A few years ago, follower count felt like the main indicator of success. That is no longer the case.
Think about how you behave now. If you see a clothing brand you like, a hotel you are curious about, or a restaurant you fancy, you are not judging them by follower numbers. You are looking at the content, the feel, the credibility, and whether it actually looks worth engaging with.
People are far more selective about who they follow now. On Instagram especially, it has almost become a status thing to follow fewer accounts. Brands are harder to follow by default, so the bar is higher.
Instagram is also far more search and SEO-led than it used to be. Discovery happens through keywords, saves, shares, profile visits, and content quality, not follower count.
Our goal is to make sure that when someone lands on your profile, it looks strong immediately, communicates what you do clearly, and feels interesting or useful enough to earn a follow.
Follower count is a vanity metric. It looks nice, but it does not pay the bills. What matters is return on investment. Social media should support your business, not exist as a popularity contest.
Is organic social media enough on its own, or do we need paid advertising as well?
In most cases, organic social media alone will not deliver significant ROI unless something genuinely exceptional happens to go viral. And no agency can promise that.
Organic social media is essential. It builds credibility, trust, visibility, and brand perception. It shows people who you are, what you stand for, and whether you are worth engaging with. But on its own, it is rarely a fast growth lever anymore.
In reality, consistent commercial results usually come from a combination of strong organic content and a sensible paid advertising strategy behind it. Paid social allows you to put the right content in front of the right people at the right moment, rather than waiting for algorithms to be kind.
We are very open about this because pretending otherwise does clients a disservice.
For paid advertising, we work closely with Castle International, our partner agency based in Liverpool. Their paid media team specialises in performance-led campaigns and, in our view, is among the strongest in the UK.
This setup allows us to focus on what we do best, organic strategy, content, positioning, and brand safety, while paid activity is handled by specialists who live and breathe it. The two sides work together closely, rather than operating in silos.
Not every client needs paid support immediately, and we will always be honest about timing and budget. But if your goal is meaningful growth and return, paid media is often part of the conversation.
How long does it take to see results?
It depends on where you are starting from.
Some clients see positive movement within the first couple of months, particularly if content quality or consistency has been holding them back. Others take longer, especially if an account has previously relied on poor tactics or sporadic posting.
Social media is cumulative. The real value comes from consistency, learning what your audience responds to, and refining over time. Anyone selling overnight transformation is selling a fantasy.
We will always give you a realistic view of what to expect and when.
Do you lock clients into long-term contracts?
No.
We work on a month-to-month basis.
Clients should not feel trapped with an agency they are unhappy with, and equally, we do not want to be locked into relationships that are not working. That benefits no one.
Great social media work relies on trust, communication, and a good working dynamic. Sometimes that clicks immediately. Occasionally, it does not, and that is not always about the quality of the work. People and ways of working simply do not always fit, and that is completely fine.
Month-to-month keeps things honest. Clients stay because the work is working, not because a contract forces them to. We are proud to have clients who have been with us for over four years and relationships that continue to thrive.
Long, locked-in agency contracts have always felt like a red flag to us. We focus on the relationship, not trapping clients.
What if we are not based in London, or not even in the UK?
That is absolutely fine.
While Honest London is based in London, we work with clients across the UK and internationally. We already support businesses outside the capital, including clients based further north.
For northern UK work, we partner closely with Castle International, who have an experienced team on the ground and a strong understanding of regional audiences. They operate as an extension of our team.
We also work with trusted videographers and photographers across the UK and globally. Content can be captured locally, while strategy, management, and oversight are run through our London hub.
Do you manage personal accounts for founders, CEOs, and public-facing professionals?
Yes.
Personal branding is now just as important as company branding, particularly for founders, CEOs, and senior leaders. In many cases, it is the personal account that builds trust faster than a brand page ever will.
We offer a dedicated personal brand and executive social media service, covering platforms such as LinkedIn and Instagram, alongside reputational and PR-led advisory support where needed.
For some clients, this runs alongside brand social media. For others, it is a standalone service focused entirely on the individual. Budgets and involvement vary depending on visibility, risk, and goals.
Who runs Honest London, and who will we be working with?
Honest London is owned and overseen by Lauren Beeching, a crisis PR and reputation management specialist with extensive experience managing high-visibility and high-risk social media accounts.
Lauren works closely with a trusted team of social media managers, content specialists, and creatives, all operating under her direct oversight across London and Liverpool. Every client strategy, piece of content, and platform approach is reviewed at a senior level, rather than being handed off and forgotten.
Lauren has managed social media channels with audiences in the multi-millions and regularly advises public figures, brands, and businesses on messaging, reputational risk, and digital behaviour. She is also a regular commentator across outlets including BBC and Sky News.
Lauren remains your first point of contact and is actively involved throughout the relationship. You are not passed between junior account managers or layered agency structures. You get a dedicated team, guided by someone who understands both growth and risk.
In the current climate, producing great content is only half the job. Content can very easily land brands or individuals in trouble if it is poorly framed, mistimed, or tone deaf. Having crisis and reputation expertise built into social media management is no longer optional, it is protection.
Do you offer SEO as a standalone service?
Yes, we do.
Standalone SEO with Honest London is £1,800 per month.
For us, SEO is not a nice extra. It is fundamental to how businesses are found now. Social media can drive attention, but SEO and GEO are what capture intent. If someone is actively searching for what you offer and you are not showing up, you are invisible at the exact moment it matters.
We have strong expertise across both traditional SEO and modern GEO, meaning how your business appears across search engines, AI tools, and discovery platforms. This landscape changes constantly, and staying on top of it is non-negotiable if you want long-term visibility.
SEO is not a set-and-forget task. Algorithms shift, search behaviour evolves, and competitors move fast. Our role is to make sure your site, your content, and your wider digital footprint stay relevant, accurate, and discoverable.
For many clients, SEO becomes the backbone that everything else plugs into. If your foundations are weak, no amount of social media will fix that.
If you are serious about being found, SEO is not optional.
What happens after the first call?
After a short call, usually around 20 minutes, we will send a personalised proposal with ideas, early recommendations, and a realistic plan.
There is no pressure to sign. You are welcome to take the ideas and use them elsewhere. If we are not the right fit, we would rather say that early.
